İn my opinion, kebab and döner are symbol of Turkish food culture.They are very delicious dishes.Foreign countries learn these dishes from Turkey.Turkish people love meat.There
fore meat meals are popular in Turkey.





















SOUPS

Soups are very important in Turkish culture.Usually people are start dinners with soups.In Turkish cuisine, popular soups are Mercimek,tarhana,yayla and ezogelin.







DRİNK

Popular drink are tea,coffee and ayran,in Turkish cuisine.Most people drink tea every night at their homes.Almost never Turkish people dont like tea.



DESERT

Turkish cuisine's special desserts are; künefe,baklava,kadayıf and sütlaç.Most Turkish people love desserts.It tastes very delicious i think.

CULTURAL PAST

      Edirne is in Trakya Peninsula. There is a rich cultural history due to the position of Edirne. The first settlements in the end of the Neolithic Age.The Thracians lived here.Even, it is the oldest public. Then the Macedonians and Romans came here.
      Edirne is close to Europe,so the cultures of Edirne is more different than Anatolian provinces.


EDİRNE DİSHES

There are varied foods in Edirne.Fruits and vegetables are important at nutrition. The famous white cheese is common very much. Edirne Cheese usually made from sheep's  milk.








BADEM EZMESİ

      Damat paçası, Edirne meatballs, gras pan, gras winding, mamzana, yanya meatballs, Rumeli beğendisi, tarhana soup, badem ezmesi, akıtma, cheese dessert, cheese halvah, revani,types of pickle and jam. Analı kızlı is Turkish soup.It consists of wheat,chickpeas and garlic.
